Terms and Conditions

The terms that apply to this website and to a place on a public-schedule course.

Last updated:

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of al-khobraa.training and any public-schedule course you register for through it. A private, in-house or competency-development engagement is governed by the separate proposal and agreement signed for it; where that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement prevails.

We are Alkhobraa for Training & Competency Development, Commercial Registration 1010264773, VAT Registration 300556459300003, TVTC Training License 8/1/54436, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

2. Registering for a course

Submitting a form or an inquiry on this site is a request, not a booking. A place is confirmed only when we send you a written confirmation naming the course, the dates, the venue and the fee. Please give accurate delegate details: the name you register is the name printed on the certificate.

Some courses carry prerequisites or an awarding body's own eligibility rules. Where they apply, we will tell you before confirming a place.

3. Fees, VAT and payment

  • Fees shown on this site are per delegate and in US dollars unless stated otherwise on the course page.
  • Fees are exclusive of value added tax. VAT is applied at the rate in force in Saudi Arabia at the time of invoicing, and a compliant tax invoice is issued for every booking.
  • Unless your written confirmation says otherwise, payment is due before the course starts.
  • The fee covers tuition, course materials and the certificate. Travel, accommodation, visas and any third-party examination fee are not included unless the course page says they are.
  • Group and corporate bookings are quoted separately. Ask us for a group quotation before registering delegates one by one.

4. Changes to a scheduled course

We may need to change the venue, the trainer or the delivery format of a scheduled course, and occasionally to move or withdraw a date — most often when a course has not reached the minimum number of delegates for it to run well. We will tell you as early as we can and offer you a place on the next run or a full refund of what you have paid. Our liability in that situation is limited to the fee you paid us; we are not able to reimburse travel or accommodation booked independently, so please do not make non-refundable arrangements before your place is confirmed in writing.

Your own cancellations, transfers and delegate substitutions are covered by the cancellation policy.

5. Certificates and accreditation

A delegate who attends a course in full receives a certificate for it. Where a course is accredited by an external awarding body, that body sets its own assessment, examination and certification rules, and the credential it awards is issued under its authority, not ours. Courses without an external awarding body carry an Al-Khobraa certificate of completion, which is exactly what it says it is.

6. Conduct during a course

Delegates are expected to follow the safety, security and site rules of the venue, and to treat trainers and other delegates with respect. We may ask a delegate to leave a course where their conduct puts others at risk or prevents the course from being delivered, and no refund is due in that case.

7. Course materials and this website

Course materials, this site and its content remain our property or that of our licensors. Materials are provided to a registered delegate for their own professional use. Please do not copy, resell or redistribute them, or use them to deliver training to others, without our written permission.

8. Accuracy of the information here

We keep the catalog, dates and fees on this site current, and the schedule is rebuilt daily. Even so, a date or a fee can change between your reading it and our confirming it. The details in your written confirmation are the ones that apply.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Saudi law. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of a course is limited to the fee paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business or opportunity.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the competent Saudi courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
