Projects & Contracts · 5 Days · Public · Al-Khobraa certified · From USD 3,900
Engineering and construction projects have a history of contractual disputes and conflict. These problems have reduced the efficiency and profitability of developments, and have not been to the benefit of either clients or contractors. Both engineering and construction tend to attract contractual problems because of the complex nature of the work itself, and also the complicated commercial arrangements involved. The purpose of this course is to help delegates understand the reasons why such problems arise, and how to avoid them in the future.
This course is designed for business managers, commercial staff, project managers, and other professionals seeking to strengthen their capability in this area.
Al-Khobraa certified. On completion delegates receive an Al-Khobraa certificate of achievement.

The portfolio covers project management fundamentals and PMP exam preparation, Primavera P6 planning and scheduling, PRINCE2, cost control and earned value, risk management, and contract management from tendering through claims and close-out. Courses use live project scenarios rather than theory alone.
These courses suit project and programme managers, planners and schedulers, project engineers, cost and contract engineers, procurement and commercial staff, and team leaders moving into project delivery roles. PMP preparation additionally assumes documented project experience, which PMI verifies at application.
