In this course, you will be introduced to the overall concepts associated with the service strategy phase of the service lifecycle, including introduction of the key principles of service strategy, and service strategy processes. Also introduction of the importance of governance and related frameworks, and learn how to examine implementation considerations and approaches, including organizational design, the role of technology, and service automation.
As with any of the Intermediate modules, it is recommended that candidates have exposure to basic concepts in IT and at least two years’ professional experience working in IT Service Management (ITSM). The Service Strategy (SS) qualification would suit candidates in the following IT professions or areas: CIOs/CTOs Manager/IT audit managers Supervisory staff Team leaders Service Designers, Architects, and Planners IT consultants ITSM trainers involved in the ongoing management, coordination and integration of strategizing activities within the Service Lifecycle
