Preparing spatial data for publishing (shapefiles, geodatabases, raster datasets) Publishing map services, feature services, and image services
OGC standards: WMS, WFS, WCS support in GeoServer
Data storage and access (file-based, enterprise geodatabases, PostGIS)
Hands-On Activities: Publish a vector dataset as a WMS in GeoServer; publish a feature service in ArcGIS Server.
Day 3 — Security and User Management
Overview: Focuses on securing GIS servers and managing user permissions.

Authentication and authorization in ArcGIS Server and GeoServer Role-based access control (admins, publishers, viewers)
Configuring HTTPS and SSL certificates
Integrating with external authentication systems (LDAP, Active Directory)

Day 4 — Advanced Publishing and Customization
Overview: Focuses on extending server capabilities and customizing services.

Styling services with SLD (Styled Layer Descriptor) and ArcGIS symbology

يحصل المشاركون عند إتمام الدورة على شهادة إتمام صادرة من الخبراء للتدريب، وهي جهة تدريب مسجّلة في المملكة العربية السعودية. كما تقدّم الخبراء برامج معتمدة دوليًا، وعندما تحمل الدورة اعتماد جهة مانحة خارجية مثل PMI أو CIPS أو ILM أو IOSH يُذكر اسم الجهة في صفحة الدورة نفسها.
